EN853 SN steel wire braided rubber hose is suitable for medium pressure hydraulic oil conveying. It is made up of an inner tube of oil resistant synthetic rubber, one braided steel wire reinforcement and a black abrasion, weather and ozone resistant synthetic cover.

The more you twist, flex and relax your rubber hydraulic hose, the more its steel braid wears down. This reduces its life and performance. Thermoplastic hoses can withstand this wear, however.
